Welcome
to the website of UK cartoonist/illustrator Tim Harries. Based in
Newport, South Wales, Tim offers a professional, dependable service
delivering quality artwork to the tightest of deadlines.
Clients include Readers Digest,
Punch, New Statesman, Oink, The Sun, The Star, Future Publishing,
Grant Thornton, Nelson Thornes, and
many others. In 2005, filmed with CBBC for a number of cartooning
tutorials shown on TV. It certainly taught me that I have a face for
radio.

ARTWORK AND DISPATCH |

Once
I receive the clients brief, a rough will be e-mailed, faxed or
posted to the web for client approval. Once this is approved, I
proceed to final artwork which I can email, post on CD/hard
copy or upload to my web space for the client to download,
whichever is the most convenient. Files can be produced in a number
of formats. |

PRICE |
|
|
The
price is based on a number of factors - use of the illustration,
area or territory covered, whether the job is colour or b&w, for
how long the use is required. The size of the print run will also
affect the cost. |

ABOUT ME |

|
Ok, that's the hard sell
out of the way, let me tell you about a little about me.
Originally from Pontypridd (boyo!) my
early love of cartooning was sparked by Welsh favourite Gren,
Charles Schulz's 'Peanuts' and Reg Smythe's 'Andy Capp'.
After a few years of 'proper
jobs' (copyright - everyone's parents) I decided a life of
cartooning was for me. Armed with a pen, some paper and an
understanding wife, I turned Professional Cartoonist. Hurrah. Many
years later and I'm still doing what I love. My other interests are
music and movies ( must .. NOT .. buy .. more .. DVD's) but I'm
happiest when cartooning.
